Our story - what comes next.

Murphy’s Mid-Century opened in Inglewood in 2018, founded by Harrison Murphy, with David Anné joining as partner in 2020. Our showroom brought together a shared love of mid-century furniture, thoughtful design, and beautiful things made to last, with a particular emphasis on Danish and Scandinavian modern.

Over the years, we’ve built a loyal following in Calgary and beyond. We sourced, restored, and delivered pieces ourselves, working with skilled local craftspeople when specialist work was needed. The relationships we formed with our customers, neighbours, and fellow design enthusiasts became as much a part of Murphy’s as the furniture.

Our Inglewood showroom closed in September 2026, but we’re keeping Murphy’s online through our website and Instagram. We remain interested in exceptional pieces and may offer occasional finds in the future. We’ll share any new direction here as it develops.
