Murphy’s Mid-Century is a small creative studio and showroom located in Inglewood, Calgary Alberta. At our heart, we are enthusiasts and curators. Our goal is to present the best examples and qualities of modern design from the 1950s and 1960s. Our emphasis is Danish, Swedish and Norwegian modern.

We’re proud to be located in the historic neighbourhood of Inglewood, in Calgary where commerce and business and culture began for the city. We refinish and restore furniture and objects, we re-upholster and reimagine. We work with a small collection of Calgary’s best craftspeople. Supporting what was a list of fading skills in this world’s fast paced “build, buy, destroy” cycle of “stuff”.

We offer support with design and style at home and in the office. We have a number of restoration services available
