This mid-century round, extendible, teak pedestal dining table is another very attractive example of Dyrlund's quality and design detailing. The butcher block style teak table top is finished with round edges. What makes it unique is that it floats on pillared v-shaped legs which add style, personality, and practicality. The trestle design (duck feet) allows for maximum leg room under the table (no more table leg straddling). Original manufacturer’s label is present beneath table top. This table comes complete with two leaf extensions. Without leafs it is a generously roomy 4-seater and will extend to an 8-10 seater. The movement mechanism is smooth and strong with clips to lock the leafs in place. This is, when simply put, an excellent table. What I love about it is that it is both compact and expandable - form following function...what MCM design is all about.
Matching credenza (item #85), serving cart (item #87), and dining chairs (item #84) are also available.
Very good vintage condition, no damaged wood, condition is consistent with age and use. It has been well taken care of with very minor markings to the bottom of the legs. Very little wear to the table top and leafs.
