Date of Manufacture: 1960-1969
Maker: Dyrlund of Denmark.
Dyrlund is known for high quality Danish furniture and this piece is a perfect example of their artistry. This is a stunning teak media cabinet/ small credenza with tambour doors made in Denmark by Dyrlund. It is presented on four casters and features book matched tambour doors, a slide-out shelf on the left for a turntable, a drawer on the right, shelving, punch-outs for electronic cables at the bottom of each side - one with a hole plug, (as manufactured), and a fully finished back. The tambour door joinery is so well done it is hard to tell that it isn't solid wood until you get close-up to see the hairline hinges. With the back fully finished, this credenza can free stand in any room and be visible from all sides. The tambour doors slide smoothly around the cabinet corners and tuck away effortlessly. The rounded corner details give it an organic quality.
Matching dining table (item #86), serving cart (item #87), and dining chairs (item #84) are also available.
Beautiful condition with virtually no flaws to the wood. The four wire record dividers have been removed
