Maker:  Haeger Potteries, #3833-6", U.S.A.

This vintage Haeger 3833-6" planter has a shiny glaze in a deep rich speckled green.  Research shows it to be around the 1960 timeframe.  The stamp to the base reads, "© Haeger 3833-6" U.S.A." The original foil sticker is present, but has partially worn away, so is not fully readable.  Haegar planters have become quite collectible in recent years. 

TIDBIT

Haeger Potteries were in business for 145 years, ceasing operations in 2016; it was family owned and operated for four generations.

In 1976, Haeger entered the Guiness Book of World Records for producing the largest handthrown vase in the world.  It stands more than 8 feet tall and weights more than 650 pounds.  .   

CONDITION

The planter is in good vintage condition.  It does have a small chip to the top rim.  Price lowered to accommodate.
