Pyrex Butterprint Large Refrigerator Dish



Date:  This dish set was released in 1959, the pattern debuted in 1957 and discontinued in 1968.

Butterprint was one of the first printed patterns on the opal ware Pyrex line.  This dish is part of the "Oven Refrigerator and Freezer set (500)" that came out in 1959.

Released in 1957 Butterprint was the result of growing market trends with its turquoise on white and white on turquoise Amish print. 


Butterprint, along with Gooseberry, was the first pattern printed on the new Cinderella Nesting Bowls (the bowls with handles/spouts).


Very good.  Wonderful vintage condition.  Minimal flea bites to the cover as expected for an item of this age and use.


9.5" L (from handle to handle) x 6.75" W. It has a capacity of 1.5 qts.
