Hazel-Atlas, entered the market in 1930 introducing the beloved Royal Lace pattern in 1934.  Royal Lace has the distinction of being among the most popular Depression glass patterns sought by collectors and is the most expensive to collect today. It was a 28-piece pattern made for Sears Roebuck and set what was considered to be a very fancy and elegant table. It was made for eight years in five colors.

Hazel-Atlas Glass Company of Wheeling West Virginia was formed in 1902 and became the largest glass company in the world.  It is one of the biggest names in depression glass and notably one of the world’s largest tumbler factories.  Pink glass product began in 1933 and Royal Lace was produced from 1934 through 1941.

The most unique aspect that Hazel-Atlas Glass was able to bring to the table was the fact that their color formulas were consistent and did not fade (into lighter pink tones or orange-tinged variations) like pieces made by Jeannette Glass or Hocking Glass.

Most Hazel Atlas depression glassware pieces are not marked, but every so often you can find the “HA" mark (a large H with a small A tucked below) on a number of kitchenware pieces.

The Hazel Atlas mark is sometimes confused with Anchor Hocking Glass Co. The Anchor Hocking mark, however, is actually an "H" superimposed over an anchor symbol. - so be certain when you find the logo marks.

Matching 2 oz tumblers (item #30), pitcher (item #32), Covered footed sugar (item #33), and footer creamer (item #34) are also available.
