A pink Depression glass set by Jeannette Glass in the Windsor Diamond pattern. This set includes a water pitcher and 5 tumblers from their beverage set offering.

The Windsor pattern is best known for its geometrical texture and diamond pattern that produces a brilliant effect similar to cut glass.   It was available in a whopping six colors and offered a range of 37 pieces.

Windsor shows the movement toward a cut crystal look that developed near the end of the Depression Glass era.  This look allowed this pattern to be successfully continued into the 1940's

The Jeannette Glass company was one of the premier depression glass manufacturers and extensively produce coloured glassware by using mould etched designs and then transitioning to a cut glass look at the end of the period.

CONDITION

Good with some age appropriate wear (after all the pieces are likely 80+ years old).  No scratches or hazing.  Small blemish to top of pitcher edge.
